guide application process
If you meet our minimum qualifications:
Email a copy of your RESUME (including pertinent whitewater, wilderness, and guiding experience), CURRENT CERTIFICATIONS (WFR, SWR, WFA, etc), and three PERSONAL REFERENCES (letters of recommendation will not be accepted) to our Program Director, Valerie Pufahl, at firstname.lastname@example.org
Upon receiving your application, we will send you a link to our GUIDE APPLICATION. Please complete and return the application.
Our interview process consists of at least TWO INTERVIEWS to ensure we are a good fit for each other. We will check your references and conduct a background check. This is a time-intensive process, as we are committed to creating a strong guide team to facilitate our program experience, uphold our safety standards, and provide excellent care and support for each of our participants.
DEADLINE FOR our 2019 SEASON IS MAY 1ST.
We will review applications beginning in January 2019 and conduct interviews with qualified candidates on an on-going basis.
